HAWK Near The Pill, Old Barnstaple Road, early evening of Saturday 21st January, an unknown vehicle hit our beloved and irreplaceable 10 year old black Labrador and left him to die in the roadside. He leaves a brother Harrier. Our thanks to the people who did stop to advise a local farmer that he lay injured in the road, and to the farmer who went to find him, got the phone number from his collar and rang to let us know he was in a bad way. Sadly by the time we reached him it was too late to say goodbye to such a good and faithful friend. Always you Hawk, your last escape, now in the food halls of the sky with old pals. Remembered with a smile!
